The course has not yet been selected. We plan to make a selection within a few weeks so you are able to sign up. We plan the course to be a local golf course around Atlanta Georgia. We are looking into both private and public golf courses. We will let you know as soon as possible which golf course we plan to host at. For now to help us solidify a deal please fill out the form in the support/sponsers part of the website. | The golf team at Decatur High School has always been overlooked. It's the team with one of the fewest amounts of trophies in the trophy case at school, and it lacks interest compared to others. However, in recent years there has been a spike in interest in the DHS golf team. This year we are expecting the trend to continue, we came off our first tournament win in over 50 years and we made it past our area tournament which was a first in many years. Due to the uptick in participation, the Golf team needs the money to support the team's needs. However, this money isn't provided by the school. This tournament will help give the team the financial support to succeed more than ever. | |
